What is THRIVE Foods?

Okay, so if you know anything about me, you know I wasn’t a fan of cooking until after I got married.  Okay, I’m still not.  But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to eat healthy.  I just don’t have a lot of TIME.  And I have a family to feed.  Plus, I’m pretty sure I have A.D.D. which means I’m impatient and I need it to be simple.

Thrive Foods is a division of another company called Shelf Reliance that specializes in food rotation and emergency preparedness.   These guys first started their business by selling these really cool shelving systems that make it easier for you to use your canned goods (ie. food storage).  You know, it utilizes that concept “first in, first out” basis?  You may have seen the same concept for pop cans you put into your fridge.

Shelf Reliance also specializes in Emergency Prepardness.  Seriously, if you need it, they have it.  Got it?  Ok, so that’s all find & dandy, but guess what?  They noticed that most canned foods contains sodium, unnatural preservatives and additives.  Gross.  So they thought of another alternative.

In 2007, Shelf Reliance launched their premium food line, Thrive Foods.  The THRIVE food line consists of the same foods you would purchase at the market—fruits, vegetables, meats, beans, grains, dairy, and the basics.  Except for one thing….they are flash freeze dried!

Oh, and did I mention, their fruits and veggies are “freeze dried” right after being picked off the vine….at their peak of ripeness?  Can you say yum?   That’s just skimming the iceberg (pardon the pun.  Get it?  Iceburg?  Lettuce).  Anyhoo….

Once again, if you have read my story,  you would know that I was super skeptical.  Like, big time!  Speaking of time, as you now, that is something I have little bit of.  Which is the second best reason why I love this stuff.

With that said, I will get to the point:  I want to share this with others!
